History of MMFE?

I remember discovering the old blog a little under a year ago, and eventually making my way to the forum (which had a dramatically different look than it does now). The first people I remember encountering were Everlost, Jester and someone who had that "Coming to a church near you--Burzum" picture as their avatar (this person also loved The Doors--was this guy any of you?). Anyway, how many of you have been here since "the beginning", and how close to the beginning was I?

Andddddd...lesseeeee. I discovered the blog about...2 months before the first forums were made, I believe. I loved the blog, and read the shoutbox very often. Then, I saw the announcement that the forum was going to be made, and waited anxiously for it to happen. I don't remember the exact member number for the first forums that I was, but I was pretty close to the first few. Member 12, or something like that. I don't remember

Anyways. I was there from the start of the forums, but I don't know how long the blog was around before that, so I definetely wasn't around from the beginning of that.

Oh...and I think the guy with the Burzum avatar was Lost Wisdom.

Haha, yeah, the guy with the Burzum flyer was me.. but that wasn't on the very first board. I remember signing up on the 2nd board.

Yea...I seemed to remember you not being on the first one.

I joined the first forum maybe a month or 2 before it was closed down. When the second one started, I think I was like member 70 or something like that, and that's when I got into uploading albums, and being a bigger contributor.

The blog(s) I just found surfing looking for music. I think that's how I found out about the forum too.

I wasn't. I joined the 2nd forum and read that the 1st was closed due to technical difficulties.

I remember I started going to the blog around last year probably like March or so......so I"ve been around for probably a year

I used the shoutbox occasionally but not much.....mostly used it to download albums

Until we got a forum, didn't join until probably summer but then they closed the blog down so I joined the forum to see why and stayed ever since.......this is my fav forum besides my main one, the Ozzfest forum knockoff, RockandMetalviews.com

I found out about the blog around March 2007. Than when a forum was made I was one of the first members. The first forum member I came in contact with was some dude that was a Metalocalypse fan and had an avatar with a cartoon animal (racoon?) that looked like a zombie. He was a cool dude, but he has left us a long time ago.
