Only the best Doom(/Death) metal band to ever exist. I've been waiting for this album for at least 3 years. It was rumoured they were going to release it last year but it never happened, but 2008 is the year!!!

BTW i was thinking, a 23 minute Brutal Death song should be interesting. Ill be keeping my eye out for this one.

The Magnetic Fields put out a new album called Distortion. It's kinda strange... The usual melodic quirky pop but with an extra layer of noise (hence the title Distortion). As Stephin Merritt explained, they wanted the album to "sound more like Jesus and Mary Chain than Jesus and Mary Chain".
Not a bad album but they've done waaay better ones.
