I have several of those, and so far none of them have disappointed me.

Which ones are you talking about? I have fairly big hopes for quite a few of them. Mainly the Post-Rock ones and some of the BM ones.

New Kaki King album is fucking amazing.
Porcupine Tree released a live acoustic album which is also fucking amazing.
New Flametal album is solid.
New Byzantine album is also solid, need to listen more though.
The new A Silver Mt. Zion album is gloriously awesome.

And Protest The Hero and The Mars Volta are still the two best of the year so far, PTH being number 1. Goddamn those are good albums.

I didnt really like the new Mars Volta, but i havent liked anything since Deloused. For me they've gone too proggy, and sometimes it seems like its forced. Although the new one has been the best album since Deloused, i just cant get into them anymore.

Eh, different strokes for different folks.

Did you listen to the new Kaki King yet? It's definitely a must-get if you like any of her older stuff. I so want to marry her.

And you must get the new Silver Mt. Zion if you haven't already.

Did you tell me to get Kaki King before? Because i cant remember even reading the name before Razz I just looked her up and im interested. Ill have to have a listen. And yeah got the new ASMZ. Never really been too big into them, but its a pretty good album.

And dude you need to check out Have A Nice Life - Deathconsciousness. Its album of the year material. Its like a post-rock/shoegaze/drone/rock mix. its so hard to catagorise but you must check it out.

Bah, I didn't hear that! That sucks, I really enjoyed "...And They Will Take Up Serpents". I'll have to give some more listens to the new one soon.
