Re: Albums for 08
Hasn't been annouced yet, but I'd love for Borknagar to get back together and do a new cd. Probably wont happen since Vintersorg just came out with a solo one sometime last year. But I can hope
Re: Albums for 08
So the new In Flames album has a tracklisting and cover-art. I really hoped they took another step up after CC, but now most of my hopes are gone.

Quite a few albums have already leaked through metalarea so get there if you're not already there.
Re: Albums for 08
I really dont like mediaportal. You've just gotta wade through so much crap to get the occasional good album. Plus they overload with melodic death and black albums and i hate those two genres.

i think he meant melodic black. use this: http://blogsearch.google.com/?ui=blg
just type in name of band and album, it also indexes mediaportal (not always), you can find things way faster then just using google.

Re: Albums for 08
Ohh. okay. Thought you didn't like black metal.
But, while this won't be an '08 release, I'll throw it in anyway:
I hope they won't experiment too much with their sound. I quite like I Krig.

Some ideas have been recorded, and the frames for 6-7 songs are ready.
We will continue working on the new material during the winter, and
hopefully we will start the recordings during the summer. Our plan is
an early 2009 release, but we will let you know as things develop. My
impression so far is that this will a blacker & more atmospheric
album, but it will definitively be build on the foundation that we have
made with our previous 3 albums.
I hope they won't experiment too much with their sound. I quite like I Krig.
