The above pic might be the funniest thing I've seen in a very long time.

As for Finntroll - not a huge fan or listener but the fact that someone called them Celtic Metalcore means that somewhere in the world a decent Metalhead was striken down in mid stride by the sheer pose-erity of that statment. And I mourn them.

i think its actually funny that he called them "celtic metalcore", i had to say something to him but...ina sense i agree, though i wouldnt call it metalcore at all, and the censensus seems to use the word "humpaa"...but the accessa(i?)bility of the video (though silly and has guys with bones in their hair dancing about) could be debated as "more commercial" in stance than metalcore because of the vocals...etc.

just one way to look at it i spose...finntroll of course isnt trendy as fuck to the point that metalcore is right now fuckin about on "headbangers ball" and the like...and i think this guy had only heard that one song (i forget the title)...and these WFMU sorts dont seem like all around metal fanatics or anything...so ill give him that Razz

ANd no. There's nothing metalcore about Finntroll. It's black metal, with humppa mixed in, humppa being a type of Finnish polka.
Metalcore is shitty metal with breakdowns.
