Iced Earth Slave To The Dark The Century Media Years Box Set

Basically this is an import only re release of all the Iced Earth stuff from Century Media. I dig the LP style cd's. And apparently they are using the first Iced Earth cover not the fallen angel cover for the first album. Amazon dot com has it listed at $206, but it is an import only. Century Media are going to release each disc with bonus tracks (and hopefully the cool lp look for the cds) individually, though don't know if they will be import only like the box set or not. The Meloncholy EP is basically scattered about as bonus tracks on Alive In Athens and Something Wicked This Way Comes, so it is basically complete. So what are your thoughts on this obvious money grub?

nice set, the price isn't too bad considering it's an import, but too expensive for me.

I agree the LP looking cds are cool!

Plus the individual prices for the import cd's are between 30 to 50 bucks each so you are saving a shitload of money by buying the box set and I haven't heard if they are releasing the dvd again on its own, though I don't see why since the dvd is still available and has no different stuff on the reissue.

Im not an Iced Earth fan, but the packaging and CD design is mint! I feel like getting into IE just so i can buy it.
