Dude that album is crazy good. Took me off guard too coz while i liked Alaska there are only a couple of songs i still listen to regularly. But Colors is amazing every step of the way. Every song has its own epic moment or two. But it was very close, my top 5 albums are only separated by like 1% each.

When the website is up, and the final list goes online, will the list entries be accompanied by brief write-ups? If so, I would be happy to contribute to some of them.

Okido, I'll make a list later this week, I need my own pc to see which 2007 albums I have. Razz But I can already say Alcest will be number 1, and WitTR will most likely be number two.

I just found out that Gestapo 666 - Nostalgiah also is a 2007 release. I had completly forgotten that. Otherwise they would have been in my top 10. Ooh well I'm not gonna change my list and create confusion, just want to point out an amazing NSBM band.

I'm thinking of adding Dead Raven Choir's My Firstborn Will Surely Be Blind... I'm listening to it now for the first time and it's pretty good. Way better than the EW album I included in my list.

Its my pleasure. You cant leave a band as good as TAP to yourself. A lot of people i've showed the album to have said its their favourite or one of the best of the year.

Yay for another Legion of the Damned fan! Been following them since they were Occult. You have a good list - Hyades is a definite favorite of the year for Thrash. Very Happy

My favorite for thrash is definittly onslaught, they made 2 classic albums followed by a bad album, so i did not had any expectations, but they really put a modern face to thrash metal.

I find it strange nobody voted for axxis. It is a great albums that just did not make my list and the band is quite popular.
