Darkqueen night


Purple glow, a horizon show
Darkqueen night, dance in the light.
Flash of fire, forlorn desire
A solitary man, outside he ran.

Whispering a name, all out of fame
And praying to gods – what are the odds?
When darkness lies around his eyes
He falls and sleeps and sometimes weeps

Melting ice, seasons in disguise
Orange sky, blue suit and tie.
Formal night, New Year sight
All he’d seen, the night darkqueen.
